Kristen Stewart cheats on Robert Pattinson with married Snow White director: will it affect her deal with Balenciaga?

Kristen Stewart and director Rupert Sanders have admitted their affair and apologized.

Not so Snow White after all…

All publicity is good publicity, right? We’re hoping that’s how Balenciaga feel in the wake of the news that their celebrity face – Kristen Stewart – has cheated on long-term beau and Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson.

Kristen, 22, had an illicit affair with Rupert Sanders, the 41-year-old director of Snow White and the Huntsman who has been married to model Liberty Ross for seven years. The couple have two children together. K-Stew has issued a grovelling, public apology to her 26-year-old boyf Rob in which she admits the affair, apologizes for her actions and professes her love for him.

“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”

It is unknown exactly how long Kristen and Robert have been together due to the extreme privacy at the beginning of the relationship. R-Pat finally came clean over two years ago – in February 2010 – and revealed that they were an item.

Married man Sanders has also issued an apology for the affair; “I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family,” he said, “My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.

Sanders’s wife Liberty has been venting her anger over the internet. She uploaded a picture of a weeping, boozy Snow White with the caption “Not so pretty or so pure after all…” to her now-private Instagram account. Also, when the news of the cheating broke, Ross tweeted ‘Wow’ before deleting her Twitter account. Things must be extra difficult for Ross who played Kristen’s mother in the Snow White movie and initially championed her for the role.

As the face of Balenciaga, the label have remained quiet regarding the affair. We’re pretty sure that this whirlwind of controversy and semi-incredible scandal will be seen as a reasonably positive thing by the brand.
